Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Her style is similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. After getting some attention through the channels that are part of Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) and began her review in late 2009. She remained part of the site through January of 2015, after which Obscurus Lupa Presents transformed into Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
